Yoga Therapy
As a yoga therapist I am trained to look at your condition through the yoga therapy lenses. I work in one-on-one sessions to tailor yoga techniques to your needs, looking for specific access points to help you heal. Yoga therapy utilizes specific access points such us breath control, movements, mindfulness, meditation, to address the holistic wellbeing of the individual. Rather than focusing on symptoms, I help you to harmonize the body, the breath and the mind, and to experience the interconnectedness of them. By integrating those techniques I seek to help you to promote healing at a deeper level,aiding in the management of the disease in a comprehensive way.
Breathwork
Did you know that the way you breathe can directly affect the way your nervous system works? We can help the mind to experience a state of calmness by using techniques to manipulate the breath.
The combination of breath and movement is part of the therapeutic approach to imbalances that promote anxiety and pain.
Meditation
As meditation mentor I work in one-on-one sessions or with small community groups.
The method I use is unique because it’s inspired by a diverse range of ancient meditation practices rather than adhering to a single lineage. Thus creating an approach that embraces the richness of various traditions, allowing greater flexibility in tailoring the meditation practice to meet the needs of each person.
I also offer Yoga Nidra and I Rest (a validated practice adapted from Yoga Nidra) . These methods are known for effectively addressing mental and physical imbalances, and are employed in diverse settings , including hospitals, clinics, hospices and schools across the US and globally.
Small groups
I design classes for small groups like SENIOR CITIZENS that need a preventive approach in their regular yoga practice, or partners/friends that want to enjoy a private and relaxing session adapted to their needs.
